Leicester is close to the M1, M6, M69 and M42. For access from motorways use M1 junction 21a from the south (and M69) and M1 junction 22 from the north (and M42) of Leicester. In the city centre follow signs for The Shires Shopping Centre (see map below).
The Shires has a car park on three levels with a total of 921 spaces. There are 41 disabled parking bays on level 2B with easy access to the mall by means of lifts and escalators.
Please note that The Shires car park is not for overnight stays. Overnight stays will be charged at £30.00, in addition to normal tariff.

Travelling by Coach
National Express and other coach operators have regular services to St Margaret’s Bus Station. The bus station is a five minute walk from the Centre.
Travelling by Rail
The Shires is a 10 minute walk from Leicester Station (London Road).
Travelling by Bus
Park & Ride (Quicksilver Shuttle) services run every 10 to 15 minutes 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday). The city centre stop alights on the High Street, right outside The Shires.
